Can a sculpture capture the immense sadness of losing a spouse? Noted sculptor William Wetmore Story adored his wife Emelyn. When she passed away, he created the famous Angel of Grief sculpture for her tomb. Then he abandoned his tools and never picked them up again. He passed away not long afterward. We came upon his touching memorial while visiting the Protestant Cemetery in Rome. This photograph is available in three sizes -- 11h x 14w ($129), 16h x 20w ($159), and 18h x 24w ($179). Each one is printed on stretched art canvas and gallery wrapped, so it can be displayed without a frame. However, all images are created in standard sizes so they will fit pre-made frames. Free shipping within the United States. Please email me for estimates on international shipping. I will need your city and country. Credit cards, Stripe, and PayPal accepted.
NOTE: Only one size at a time can be listed on this page. If you want to order a different size, please contact me ([email protected]), and I'll edit the page so you can put the desired size into your cart. Thanks.
